Kidoodle.TV {Review & Giveaway}

Today I am sharing a non food related post.  For the last 2 weeks we have been using Kidoodle.TV.  Kidoodle.TV is an ad-free streaming video service aimed towards kids.

Our kids have time limits for watching TV and they are not allowed to watch shows with any violence.  Kidoodle.TV allows you to set up to 5 custom profiles where you can select which shows your kids have access to.  I find one of the hardest thing about having kids watch TV is getting them to turn it off.  With Kidoodle.TV you enter a time limits for how long they can watch.  This is a feature that I really liked.

When I first looked around Kidoodle.TV I noticed it has a lot of retro shows like Inspector Gadget and Jem and the Holograms.  I came across the Super Mario Brothers cartoon.  My boys are crazy about Super Mario Brothers.  Bilal can talk about it non-stop for hours....literally....

When they sat down to watch the show, they were not fans of the Super Mario Brothers cartoon.  It is an old cartoon so the colours aren't as vibrant and they said it was too scary for them.  So after some searching they watched Animal Mechanicals and Bo on the Go.  They really enjoyed both shows and constantly ask to watch them.  We also came across Chuck and Super Why! which are shows they also enjoy.  If your kids are into animals and nature, there are some great shows by National Geographic.

Kidoodle.TV is really great when you are travelling with kids.  If you have access to the internet you can watch Kidoodle.TV!  Sometimes when we go on vacation we find the hotel TV doesn't have any child-friendly channels.  Kidoodle.TV would be great when we are in these situations.
