For a long time, I've heard about the benefits of green tea. When I had gotten married, my husband was a big proponent of drinking green tea. Prior to that I had never even heard about it. Now green tea is readily available everywhere and people drink it often. I've also seen recipes using Matcha Green Tea in baking, lattes and smoothies. So when I got the opportunity to try
matcha powder, I was excited to give this tea a try!

What makes Matcha Green Tea so special is that it is in powder form. So you consume the entire tea rather than just steeping. I was nervous to try it as I know green tea can have a flavour that can take some getting used to. I used 1/2 teaspoon for my cup of tea and I have to admit that it was not what I was expecting. For some it will take some getting used to the taste but I found it was easier to drink than some green teas I've had in the past. Some of the powder does settle on the bottom and I didn't drink that.
Matcha powder has many health benefits with drinking their tea. It is an energy booster and increases metabolism. I find after drinking a cup of Matcha Green Tea, I was not craving or missing my regular tea for a pick me up. It is something that I now try to work into my day.
Matcha powder is 100% Organic and has 137x the antioxidants found in a cup of brewed tea. When you purchase
Kiss Me Organics Matcha Green Tea for the first time, you will receive their Organic Matcha Recipe Guide. I'm looking forward to giving some of the recipes a try.
