Mango Orange Popsicles

With the beautiful weather we are spending lots of time outside.  We are also enjoying more frozen treats!  I love to make popsicles for my boys and today I'm sharing with you a recipe for Mango Orange Popsicles.  With it being Ramadan, I find these popsicles make a wonderful dessert.  They are light and refreshing!

Vanilla Plum Swirl Pudding Pops

One of our favourite summer time treats is popsicles.  When my brother and I were growing up, my mom would always make sure our freezer was well stocked with popsicles.  Little did I know how easy it is to make popsicles and how great they taste!  Recently I made some Creamy Chocolate Pudding Pops.  We all really enjoyed them.  They were extremely quick to make but I never liked how they use Instant Pudding and Cool Whip.  I usually prefer to make things from scratch because I know everything that is in them and they always taste better.  Canadian Living's latest Make It Share It is Vanilla Plum Swirl Pudding Pops where everything is made from scratch.

Creamy Chocolate Pudding Pops

I love to make popsicles for my kids.  In the summer, they enjoy sitting in the backyard and having a frozen treat to cool down.  I've seen some recipes for pudding pops and they looked really simple to put together.  These Creamy Chocolate Pudding Pops turned out really good!  They were a hit with everyone.  The best part is the recipe only has 4 ingredients!

Strawberry Popsicles

Recently I found a great organic strawberry farm near our place.  My mom tagged along with us and we all had a lot of fun.  We came home with a 7 litre basket full of strawberries and now the big task of what to do with all of the strawberries.  Unfortunately the strawberries weren't very sweet but they were very juicy.  I gave a shot at a strawberry donut recipe but that was a major fail.  Next up was strawberry popsicles!  I've been wanting to make popsicles at home for awhile now.  These were so simple to make and were really good.  You should adjust the amount of sugar to how sweet your strawberries are.  I always get weary of adding lemon juice to recipes that I want sweet to I significantly reduced the amount.  These were a great treat and I hope you give them a try!
